Two new documents for free distribution!  One to help newcomers get sober called the S.L.A.A. "H.O.W." Beginner's Kit.  The other to help people who are starting new meetings called the Catalogue of Diverse Meeting Formats.

THESE TWO DOCUMENTS ARE BEING REVISED AND ARE TEMPORARILY UNAVAILABLE

The S.L.A.A. "H.O.W." Beginner's Kit  is a 34-page compilation of information vital to a newcomer to our Fellowship. (H.O.W. stands for the concept of remaining Honest, Open minded, and Willing to listen) It contains answers to many newcomer-relevant questions as well as information straight from the Basic Text on topics like the first three steps, withdrawal, anorexia, and much more.  

The Catalogue of Diverse Meeting Formats is a 55-page document created by the Conference Diversity Committee (CDC) containing examples of Meeting Formats submitted by real S.L.A.A. Groups.  Examples include meetings devoted to sexual or emotional anorexia, the eleventh step, gay and lesbian members, healthy relationships, battered women, young people and bisexual members, as well as French and Portuguese meeting formats.
